Problem with confirming my google account

I've had an experia z5 for a few months now and never had any problems until now.

Yesterday the phone froze, I was unable to swipe or turn it off. I finally managed to restart it and I KNOW I typed the correct pin code, however it was claimed I had the wrong pin 4 times and therefor it reset to factory settings.

I was slightly annoyed since I now probably have lost my latest photos.

Anyhow, after the resetting was forced to manage my settings from scratch. I came as far as confirming my google account. The phone wants me to use the google account from when I installed my settings the first time. I remembered my user name/e-mail addresse, but not my original password (or I thought I did, but non of my tries were accepted).

I then had a new password made, but it still wouldn't go further. I type in my e-mail addresse and then my password (which I can use to log onto the account on my pc without problems). When I press next it tells me I need to log on with one of the owner's e-mail accounts.

I really need my phone to work. I use it for work and private every day.

Please help!!

I have the same issue when verifying mt Google accounts its just looping. I know its correct as the email account linked to it keeps advising that account has been logged on to . Ive changed password and still loops with it asking me to log on to a synced device. Infuriating indeed. Any joy I'll let you know

Just wondering, do you have either data or WiFi on?

Android device protection?

Also, there is a bug where if you switch screens to enter either your password or 2FA it will error even if the details are correct.  You need to enter the password long hand (can't switch to a password manager) and enter 2FA manually too.
