Problem with sync/update iTunes playlist with Sony Bridge for Mac

I've just recently made the jump from an iPhone 5 to a Z3 Compact and have been transferring my things with Sony Bridge. However I've come across a little stumbling block and not sure if I'm just missing something obvious.

I transferred several playlists (originally made in iTunes) to my Z3 using Bridge, which worked fine. Then today I made some changes to the playlists, but when syncing again with Bridge, the playlists haven't changed in reflection to what they are in itunes.

I added/removed some songs in iTunes because I couldn't see or work out any option to do so directly in Bridge.

I did manage to get the playlists updated successfully, but that involved removing them from my phone, syncing, then adding them all again and re-syncing the phone. With a couple of thousand tracks, it's obviously going to get tedious if that is the only way to do it.

So basically, is there a way to;

- change playlists directly in Bridge?

- "refresh" the libraries so they take into account any changes made in iTunes?

Any help is much appreciated.

Sorry to hear you have a problem updating you playlists.

Have you tried to select the check box in the menu playlist for the playlist you’re trying to update?

If it doesn’t work please contact me again and i will dig deeper into your problems.

Yes I had the tick box checked, as I had previously synced the playlists to the phone. (I'm correct thinking you're referring to the check box under the MUSIC => iTunes Library => Playlists heading?). 

When I have my phone connected the playlists which I have synced become ticked/highlighted, it just appears that they don't update any changes that have been made since they were first transferred.

I'm sorry to say I'm not quite sure what the problem is.

But I will try to find a solution to you problem.

I need to know which version of Bridge for mac you are using.

I've found that if I wait for the checkboxes to go green to show which are already synchronised, untick & re-tick one playlist then it will update & allow you to sync.
