hi
i have an 8gig memory card, but when i store more than 1gig, the cellphone deletes the rest of it, and only keeps that 1 gig.
really nobody knows? this is killing me!
Delete LOST.DIR,it will free up your memory.
I have exactly the same problem, i have this phone for 3 weeks now and spent more than 100 hours on this problem. very disapointed...
not possible to write to the sd card when it is in the phone (not possible for the camera to save a picture on the sd for example and not posible to copy any files from the pc) seems 'write protected' or something but the micro sd has no physical write-protect switch.
when i copy jpg's on the micro sd using an USB adapter, everything looks fine until i put the sd card in the phone: the phone modifies the jpg file and puts parts of different pictures into one file.
when i copy mp3's on the micro sd using an USB adapter, everything looks fine until i put the sd card in the phone: the phone modifies the mp3's and you get 3 or 4 parts of different songs in one mp3 file.
when i check the sd card again using the usb adapter, the old files are overwriten with this mess.
tried to check the sd card with the app SDCardTester but this gives me the error message 'no permission to write to sdcard1'
allready formated and error checked the sd card with the pc using the USB adapter...
😞
What sd card do you have?Is it micro sdhc?Try to low level format the card.
it is an Emtec 32GB MicroSDHC class10
Have you tried low level format? There are some incompatibility issues for some cards with sony devices.
I said low level format, not quick format.Low level format is a way of formatting that is more powerful and deep than normal formatting.
