Ok, as you noticed in the Title, I can't use my SmartWatch MN2 anymore who is now 5 days old.
Devices:
Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
SmartWatch MN2
What do I get?
When holding my watch, trying to boot it up, nothing happens, the watch does not turn on.
Once connected to it's USB cable, The device shows up the SONY splash screen, then tries to pair with my phone.
Appearently, he does not remember my phone, it just keeps searching.
When I delete the SmartWatch from my BT device list, then pair with the device again, the MN2 works well again like it should, BUT still connected to the USB cable.
After around 2-10min (Always varies) the device randomly reboots. Again losing my phone data, as it keeps on searching to pair with "something" he doesn't remember.
In all those cases I am stating on this post, when having the MN2 paired, the device shows FULL battery.
I tried a few things, like pairing to my old HTC HD2 (Android ICS ROM), who made some progress. The MN2 could live 3 seconds without USB cable (It's a start). But helass, turns off and loses all the info again.
So, then I found on a Sony Help page, that you have to hold the power button for 15 seconds to RESET the device.
Once I set up again the connection between MN2 and HTC or Samsung phones, I press the power button. Every 5 seconds the screen dimms a bit, and after 20 seconds, the screen turns off, shows the "charging battery" icon, but the battery is shown FULL.
Now you will ask me: What did you do with the device? Did it work before?
Yes, it worked almost perfectly.
The only problem I had was that it already had empty battery while it shows a bar more then 50% full battery. I needed to recharg it every day.
Now, I manage a restaurant, that we are currently setting up. What I did in the last few weeks was paint, that includes some dust.
the description shows that it's water splash and dust resistant.
I don't wear it when swimming nor showering. So it never really gotten any big water except for some rain, but not even sugar would melt in those few drops.
Anything you all could help me with?
Could it be a software error of it's firmware?
Defect machine, even when it worked fine for 3 days?
Any answer will make me happy

Too me it sounds like there is clearly something wrong with your SmartWatch not your phone so I suggest that you contact your local support team for information about local repair centers. Because it needs to be examined and fixed.

I have the Sony smartwatch, and the power button does not work, i press and hold, and nothing, when i plug it to charge the refresh arrows show, and i hit pair with phone.. pairs, but once i unplug the smartwatch it turns off, and i cant turn it on...whats up with this?

I have a Samsung S5830 and just bought a Smartwatch but I cannot get them to pair. The phone happily see's my car BT and even my DECT VoIP phone BT but nothing doing with the watch. I've got the wat plugged into my W7 PC to charge and wanted to know if there's an update required but the PC doesnt 'see' the watch either although its happily charging it. Thats probably the OS so how do you upgrade the Smartwatch if it will not BT to the phone !. The instructions are worse than useless. So unless someone can help it will be heading off to EBay !!.
Oh and yes I've done the reset stuff and reinstalledLiaveWare twice now and checked for updates etc etc any help would be appreciated.
I have the same problem...works perfect but just with the cable attached. the battery is full. but i can't turn on the smartwatch. What can I do? I call the sony center...from Romania more than half on hour...i can't talk with somebody? the watch i bought in 2012 end of november. Please help me!
Hi. I'm from the Philippines. I bought a smartwatch. Iget to use it only once. When the battery got exhausted, i have it charged. When it's fully charged i removed it from its cable. I tried to power it on but nothing happens. I tried reconnecting it to its cable and lo and behold it worked. It paired with my phone and i can actually use it as it was before. But the moment i unplug it, it does not work again. I tried to bring it with a sony service center but they said, they are not yet authorized to accept smartwatch for repair. Can someone help me on this? Thank you very much.
I have the same problem. Seems to be common. The watch is about 6 months old. Anyone find a solution?

You can flash new firmware to SmartWatch very inconvenient way but it worth it!
I received Sony update software from support but couldn't turn off device to make work. I tried again with a new update and gets a networking error. An Automatic firmware update was done when plugged in to version 0.1.B.1.3 and still same problem. Battery fully charged. Is on off button stuck? Only works plugged in and need to unpair then re pair Bluetooth each time to recognize device. I cannot get it in dfu mode either.
