The speaker on my Xperia L stops working all of a sudden. Even though my volume is maximum, when I watch videos on youtube or try to listen to music on speaker, it is extremely low and cannot be heard. The problem is rectified when I restart the phone though. What can I do about this?I bought my Xperia L last month and have encoutered this problem twice already! Please help! Thanks:)
My xperia l speaker is not working when i try to play music through walkman app or winamp.... There is no sound... Even when my volume level is max
now even my speaker (earpiece) is also not responding when a call comes...
just a ringtone and noone speaking on
Please help me.... Can it b solved easily...
An odd problem. Try clearing data of Media storage app: Settings--Apps--All--Media storage--Clear data. This will not delete your media files, but may delete all playlists in walkman, marked favourites, etc. So, if you need your playlists, first make a backup using Media Go. Reboot. Check if problem persists. If it persists, try clearing data of Walkman and Winamp apps at Settings--Apps--All. And this will delete all your preferences, playlists, etc. for both the apps. Reboot.
dude it deleted all my media files and default ringtones from my phone.....
now what do i do..
i have to factory reset it now

Just give some time for the walkman app, after you open it, to load all songs, it might take a few minutes. If this hadn't solved your problem, try resetting to factory settings or try a repair with Sony Update Service.
That sounds strange. Do you experience the same problem if you boot your phone into safe mode?

If yes, I suggest that you perform a software repair on your unit via Update Service:

Download and install SUS, follow the instructions that appear.
I own an Xperia LT-30at and the same thing started to happen on my phone as well
I'm still using ANDROID 4.1.2...it seems that YouTube on my Android has been grabbing and holding the rear speaker audio hostage after trying to play a video (although headphones work fine). I noticed that the audio to my speaker wasn't working,
So I did some Googling only to walk knee deep into the usual hardware versus software finger pointing...not making much progress with the forums I decided to call it a night and get some reading done so I plugged my phone into the charger - at some point a Facebook notification (system sound) came in and revealed the speaker to be working again...relieved to have speaker phone working again, I clicked on a YouTube link and played a couple of seconds until the audio crapped out again...no rear speaker, no mp3 player, no speakerphone but I sorta think Flash on Android is the cause of this...
I did try the touch sounds setting and it did seem to bring the rear speaker sound back after turning it on and off a couple of times but I still think it's Flash audio that is the culprit here...
anyone else corroborate this?
