.thumbnails size too big?

Hello, 
can anyone please tell me why in folder DCIM there are 2 files that are taking over 500MB ?
I am going to delete it as I almost do not have empty space in my Internal storage and Sony seems to do nothing about App2SD.

The files are called THUMBDATA3.
I wonder what will happen if I will delete it, I already moved all my pictures to SD.

I cannot see the screen yet,but I know what is your problem.You can delete those files,after that delete LOST.DIR folder in phone memory.Restart.

What is LOST.DIR folder?

It is a folder in internal storage that holds uncomplete deleted files,some kind of ghost files,which cannot be used anymore.

Thumbnails take too much space in the internal storage. They take about 4 GB. How i can delete them and stop them from eating the phone space?
