I own the xperia z1 compact. I used to get time stamps on my texts. but now I do not. I cannot see how to turn them on in settings of phone. I have delivery report turned on in settings of text but I still no longer receive time next to incoming and outgoing texts. however. I do get time next to a picture text or sending to an email address or comin from a pic text or email address. can u help me figure out how to get time to show up on regular message texts? well so the message app that comes with phone wont work at a certain point? iv went to apps and tried to uninstall/reinstall it but all it will let me do is clear cache/data/disable/forcestop.clearing does nothing. am i speakin with sony or just regular people like myself? when i came to this sony said there would be sony agents monitoring this and answering. there is no feedback button on that link.
yea i did that. and they said contact our developer site and this was only way to contact anyone on their developer site. and it said sony reps would respond here. another words there they tell meto contact developer site but its only offer to contact sony is here or rt back to them. confusing!
yea thts where sony told me to go. but there is no where to contact sony on there. when i do, it goes rt back to the sony people that directed me there! confusing. and that site tells me to come here and sony specialists will respond on the forumn..
i fnially got them . i see them when i send to an email address from my phone.. weird! . called sony and my carrier. talked to sony several times.its not carrier related because other message apps show all time stamps on texts comin in and out with no problem!! SONY finally wrote me off telling me i had an international phone so they would not help me .. i have never damaged the phone in anyway no water no drop no nothing. i baby the phone. with case and screen protector and rarely take it out in public. Sony wrote me off like apple and i thought they were better than apple. and how the heck is a person suppose to know where the phone came from. IT SAYS SONY IN BIG LETTERS ON IT AND ALL OVER THE SOFTWARE. this is NOT user error or user physical damage being as other message apps sho time just fine in and outgoing texts. what a crap deal. sony cant even support their products. and try to write u off like apple. is there anyone that runs an honest business anymore! I also tried with pc companion software repair as sony suggested and that did nothing.
