Phone: Sony Experia Arc
Android Version: 4.0.4 / Build Number : 4.1.B.0.431
Since upgrading my Xperia Arc to Ice Cream I have had problems, problems that didn't exist prior to the upgrade. I was advertised to do a Factory Reset, which appears to have resolved the issues I was having but now I have another problem.
Before the Factory Reset I was able to unlink the Ringer and Notification volumes, I am not unable to do this. Originally it was in 'Menu > Settings > Sound & Display > Ringer Volume', but it isn't there now.
Is it still possible on this version of software, if so where is the option.
Thank you.
This is a feature of ICS. (Ringtone and Notification Volumes together)
I don't understand why Google link them together. It is also like this in Jellybean, too.
So does this mean, with the Ice Cream software I am no longer able to unlink them (just clarifying)...?
If we can't, does anyone know if there is somewhere we can place suggestions for updates to the software..?
Thank you
Hi everybody,
I have the salme problem with my Z3.
As said here it is linked to the Android version. Android should get better and not worse with updates !
I want to throw my new Z3 in the garbage and use my Motorola again becouse i don't want to jump up at every notification coming in ! Only when I get a phone call.
Hope there is a solution soon !
