update hurdles

I got pop up for update of SP on my vaio windows 8.1,when tried to update,it says try with windows 7 or lower.I brought another vaio with windows 7 and tried to install pc companion.It is giving error messages application not installed/your phone update information not accessible. I tried via SUS and after 34%,it displayed update unsuccessful. Please try again.This is what we got after waiting for 3 months.Can anybody help?Sony Listening?

i think its your network problem

if you try to update with SUS and middle of work it says update faild..then try again it will start update form where its faild

like your problem taht with 34% got faild..just try again and it start froms 34% agian

i myself do this tihng 6 or 7 times middle of my update and it were because of my network connection

Okay...another thing is that,at first downloadable file was 822 mb,when irestarted after 34% it shows size 802 mb.i believe it may lead to errors later on.is it right?

Maybe...let do this...uninstall Sus and reinstall it...and try to perform update another time
