The other widget should still be available in the widgets menu. If you can't find it go to settings, apps, uninstall updates of Walkman and reinstall the latest version again. This should help.
As for the music info it depends on what Gracenote generates. Sometimes the song is not accurately identified because the Walkman app sends only the beginning of the song, which in some cases is similar in more songs.
