hi sony
its been confirmed that t2 ultra is having 1.4 GHz processor but when i check its showing just 1.19 GHz why so low under clocked?
Do you not mean under clocked if it's been turned down - So why, Well just like a Pc heat is a factor the more effort a chip has to do the better heatsink you need including fans - So I'm sure tests were carried out and running the chip in said phone would have caused a severe overheating issue so for safety and tolerance reasons they get turned down - Now you can root and install an app and as you say overclock the chip to get more performance from the chip which is above recomended tolerances
dont you think this is a violation of feature prospect
coz there are many people who will turn back after seeing 1.19 Ghz processor
is sony being so bad day by day
that to sell phone first show high specifications on a chiptset which is not made to handle it and then under the name of update it bring down
fool customer
seriously dont be so much bad
o and by d way
please take a note that just by rooting and intall overclocking app one can not over clock
it has to flash supported kernel
Well that's just not true at all - A modified kernal is just that modified which makes the not so tech savy user able to overclock without having the ordeal of installing apps and adjusting features
Actually, there is no need for root.Simple high tech processor is enough.Just look at the Krait CPUs,they are able to reduce clock and even stop some cores.
You need root in order to run an app to overclock your CPU - See SetCPU or Quick CPU to name just two
Yes,but just check the CPUs (Krait).Sometimes, when not needed, some cores are just idle.
yes i have this too i think sony cheat up because they say in the website
