is the z1 compact, wireless charger compatable ..?, if so which one is best

Not stock unless your mean the magnetic charging dock - I have seen some 3rd party cases which make use of chi charging but these can be bulky and prone to failure

It uses the chi or Qi charging as above and the cases are bulky - How that works is the case is connected to the magnetic charging points on the side of your device and the back of the case is quite thick to accomodate the charging plate so when the two are placed together it creates a charge which is sent throught the case to the magnetic charging points

Personally is cheaper and easier to use a magnetic charging dock
