That is a fault in the KitKat software itself. Every Xperia E1 user are facing that issue. No repairing, updating will solve that problem. Now it is left only up to Sony to take some steps and realize their mistakes instead of blaming us. Hope they provide us with some update.

I'm using kitkat 4.3 on the same phone, what's the deal? I've only had the phone 4 weeks n have already used all the internal memory although more than half is unaccountef for in the settings list. I'm getting notifications every few minutes to transfer files to my sd card. Why can't i save apps to the sd card. I've downloaded 80 mb of apps out of a 2 gb memory. Please help.

Note that not all apps can be transferred into SD card. Most of the google related apps like Chrome etc can be saved only in the internal memory.

None of them can be transferred. I toik my battery or n went back on settings and storage, the memory was being calculated and a miscellaneous icon came up then disappeared

Are you really using KitKat? bcoz in your msg you said your Android version is 4.2 which is JellyBean and 4.2 does not support transfering apps to SD card.

Sorry not 4.2 but 4.3 is JellyBean and 4.4 is KitKat. Your version should be 4.4 to transfer apps into SD card.
