Xperia Link?

So recently sony has announced that they will be selling VAIO to Lenovo. Does this mean that Xperia Link for PC wil dissapear or will it work on all PC's? I have an acer laptop and i would like to try out Xperia Link.

It was a rumor, I can't see Sony selling VAIO
