Xperia T issues

Hi

I've had my phone  (Experia T) for 18 months adn it's never worked very well. It overheats, adn when i charge it it turns itself on and off constantly until the battery is dead. I hate it. It costs me £20 a month for no use!

I have jsut got it back from Sony after being so called 'repaired' adn it's exactly how it was wheni sent it.

I'll never get another Sony phone. I'm stuck with this useless expensive bit of crap until September. Any ideas?

Hi lifestooshort,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines

I agree with Uliwooly on this however, you could first try replacing the SIM card, as it may very well be the cause of the restarting issues.

My phone is restarting from 3 weeks now, is out of warranty ( Im the first owner), tried 2 sim cards, and without sim card aswell. Unable to recover anything from it.

That is unfortunate zilhaax, you could attempt a software repair on the device before sending to a service agent.

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from PC Companion
and install it on your PC.
2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.
Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.
3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
4. Phone Software Update.
5. Start.
6. Repair Phone
7. Continue
8. Accept data removal
9. Next
10. Wait for prepare
11. Select Phone
12. Follow the connection steps

let us know how you get on.
