Xperia Z1 Camera Issues - over exposing

Hi; I'm new to the Xperia Z1.  Have always owned Samsung.  Enjoying the Xperia but disappointed in the camera which when you read is supposed to be so awesome.  Every picture I take has a white cloud on the bottom like it's over exposed.  I haven't touched the original settings.  Should I and to what.

You can try to use manual mode and change the resolution,white balance and maybe enable image stabilizer.

Thanks but didn't work. Frustration as I just had to click, shoot, and get a great picture every time on my Samsung. This was advertised the best.
