Xperia Z1 sim not recognised

Hi,

I've had my Xperia Z1 for 3 days now and it was working perfectly, however today it doen't want to recognise my sim card. I tried putting it in and out, but it won't accept it. Does anyone have the same issue? What i don't understand is that it was working just fine yesterday and the day before.... I haven't change my sim card or tried to put it in/out before the problem occured.

Can anyone help me?

Are you sure the phone hasn't fallen?Try to use the SIM in other phones,if it works,then your phone has something.

The phone hasn't been dropped - 100% positive.

Sim works in my ipone 4

Force restart your xperia z1 with the SIM inserted(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).Post here the result.

Still the same

I tried a different sim as well and also not recognised. It must be an issue with the phone not the card i suppose

Contact the closest xperia care or take back the phone:
