xperia z2 red eye problem

i have xperia z2 .whenever  click images using flash i get red eye in pictures ,even when i select red eye reduction option in camera setting.z2 is now on 4.4.4 the problem existed from the day i bought phone.i am attaching some pics.is it normal or my phone have hardware or software problem.please guide me for corect solution.

I don't think this is a hardware or a software problem. If people get the red-eye effect in photos, there can be several reasons. For example on the photo that you have attached, it looks like the light condition is low. Thereby, the person's pupils will not have the time to contract to the amount of light that are entering their eyes from the flash. The light will then reflect back to the camera and capture it on the photo.

One thing that you could do is to ask the people to not look directly at the camera. The eyes will then not catch the flash at a direct angle which can cause this condition. There are also different photo editor programs that can remove this. Perhaps, you can check Google Play to see if there are any apps with this function.
