So I have just spent a small fortune and received my XPERIA Z2 LTE Tablet
- and after searching high and low I have concluded that the 'multiple user account' functionality in Android has been stripped away for the LTE version of this tablet.
Which means that just about any personal service on this tablet is rendered useless.
(e-mail, calendar, youtube, bookmarks +++).
This feature is present on the non-LTE so I really hope a Sony representative can explain to me why it is not present on the LTE variant?
Will the feature be implemented in an update?
To me the decision to leave this functionality out on the most expensive tablet you're selling borders to retardation and also fundamentally annoys me.
yeah I would like to know this as well....
I want a solution to this problem to, what is going on! this is stupid, where is the multiple user option in the LTE model.

As far as I can see, there is support for Multiple users in the Xperia Z1 LTE version - so why not in the Z2 version.
I just bought a Z2 Tablet - and I have spend hours trying to figure out why I could not add more users - until I found this thread.
It must be pretty easy to just open up for it - I guess the problem is that Z2 LTE things its a phone and hence do not need the multiple users.
This is a big issue for me - I have more need for multible users then the LTE - I seriously think about handing it back to the store 😕
An issue for me also. I would have thought this would be basic functionality for a top end tablet. It's an excellent device all in all, but this is somewhat agitating.
really bothered by this as well.. quite bummed considering the price gap and ending up losing a function.
Had I known before purchase I might have opted for the wi-fi version.

The multiple user functionality is a must-have feature for me.

2 weeks since the original poster posted and still no official reply from sony, outrageous. chat support was also unwilling to say or do anything aswell!!!
