Z1 compact wont charge

Hi everyone. Any help appreciated. I recently had my z1 compact fitted with a new screen at a local phone shop. I brought it home,the phone was OK that evening. Next morning battery drops to 3% then turns off. Won't turn on. Eventually it charges to 3% turns on then straight off. Took if back to shop,changed battery. Still only gets to 3% then shuts off. Shop saybirs a mystery. It's since they changed my screen. Can anyone help me.

You have to take it back to get it repaired

I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. This is mainly to eliminate any software issue that may cause this battery behavior. Turn the phone off and leave it on charger for a couple of hours and start phone repair.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.
