Z2 Tablet power up

I have been having a few problems with my z2 tablet,

1st time it happened i could not use the tablet for 9days.

after 9 days the tablet started to charge it self and it was good to go.

2nd time was after a week, i decieded to turn it off and when i tried starting it in the evening it would not turn on so waited another 9 days and it started charging again.

3rd time 1 month later it happened again which seems to me its not turning off properly, this time i held down the vol - key and power button for 10sec and it start up with no charging.

Connect the tablet to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge fo 2-3 hours > repair it with PCC

just done what you told me, reinstalled software.

went to restart tablet and nothing, no life and no charging light

test different cables and wall chargers, if that doesn't work, contact your Local support

Try pressing the little yellow button beside the SIM card with a paper clip until it vibrates. This worked for me.

Hi all

I never wrote at a forum but decided to, because my beloved tablet z2 fell in a deep sleep after switching it off for the night.

When the morning came i switch it on as usual but nothing happened, even so had 40% power left😞

So googled it and find lot of advice and support from Sony site and forum.

Tried all of them .... With no success at all👎

After two days took it down to Curry's but they did not do repairs to tablets!

Had an silly  idea !!!

Electronic are very responsive to magnetism, 

So took the risk and decided to use a strong magnet on the back where the switch and connections are.

And after connecting the tablet to USB cable it's light came on, so left it on for 10 mins and switched it on and it works without having lost anything.

It work for me and saved me an expensive repair bill...
