I have the same problem, my z5 is 4 months old got dropped, screen broken and while I won't go into the whole nightmare here I've checked into all options and only one repair place would even consider it (the rest told me they won't do it) and he told me straight up that it will not be a perfect repair, that it's difficult to put them back together to factory appearance. Basically it won't look as perfect as before so considering that and the possibility that other components could be damaged I decided to buy a new one. If your going to do it send it back to sony. Maybe it'll cost more ,take longer but it'll be done right.good luck!
