I have a new XZ premium, this is my second one. A problem I have with the new one that I didn't have in the previous one, is that apps close all the time instead of running in the background. I have read solutions such as turning on power savings exceptions, and restarting the phone each day - but the app (Pokemon Go) will close as soon as I am out of it, no matter what app I am switching to. This didn't happen with my older XZ Premium, and I can't figure out why this is happening to a newer one, and what else I can do to fix it.
I have marked it as a 'power-saving' exception.
Is there a way to check what other applications are using RAM? In case it just doesn't have enough to run it plus another app? Again, I can't understand why this is happening on a fresh phone when if anything, I have less apps installed than on the old phone when Pokemon Go would run for hours in the background. I have a Pokemon Go Plus connected, which is why I still want the app still active when doing other things on my phone
