Cannot add widgets!

Well my clock has disappeared.. Go to add widgets. Nothing. I hold it to take into the main screen (or even the spare) and it won't add anything! 

Any ideas?

Try and clear the cached data of your Xperia Hope app, but bear in mind that this will reset all your home screens and you'll have to customize them from the beginning (shortcuts, folders, widgets, etc):

Go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> App info -> Xperia Home -> Force stop, then go to Storage -> Clear data and restart your phone.

i had the same, once so far, random, experience.  all the widgets on the home screen suddenly disappeared, and cannot be added until I rebooted.
