Constant Update software loop

Hi, 

My phone recently installed an update, and now it's constantly trying to update itself to the same software. It's already just installed the latest one, but it keeps trying to do it again and again. Even when I tell it to not install the software, because it already has the latest, it will go ahead and do it anyway. My phone isnt even two weeks old yet. Anyone else got this problem. How do you fix it? (Sony Xperia XZ1)

It's not the same update, you should be having a lot of updates pending since you recently purchased your phone. They will keep installing one after the other. You can get the latest firmware in one go by performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Don't forget to backup using Xperia Companion, but preferably without adding apps or settings to the backup.

So either be patient and install them one-by-one, or softrep but wipe your phone in the process.
