When I want to enter my code to access voicemail the keyboard is screwed up. The numbers are partially overriding the letters Like ABC, DEF, etc. I remember my code by the letters not the numbers so it gives me a problem. Funny but when I bring up the keboard to dial a number it is fine. The problem happens only when entering the voicemail code.
The answer is no to both questions. I attached a screenshot illistrating the problem.
.
I entered safe mode and it did the same thing.
Have you (or anyone) noticed this?
If you remember your PIN by numbers you might not notice this problem.
I don't have the compact version to test it myself, I'm sorry, I'll see if I can find more info
Hi @PeteCal ;
In Settings>Display>Letter Type Size and Visualization Size are you using the Standard definition?
I don't have Letter Type Size and Visualization Size....
The closest I come is Settings>Display>Font size=Largest (I'm getting old and need the larger type).
And Settings Display Display size = Default
I should point out that this problem only happens when connected to voicemail. If I open the Phone and tap on the keyboard icon at the lower right an almost identical keyboard comes up. The only difference is the letters below the numbers are completely visible. The numbers don't hide the letters like in the image I posted
Well @PeteCal;
The menu in English might be a little different, but the issue might be a bug because of selecting the font size to "Largest" , try selecting "Default" and see if same thing happens.
I also called voicemail in my XZ Premium (same firmware) but don't have this issue, also the keypad screen during call uses all the screen, not only a part like in your screenshot.
You were right about reducing the font size. I had to go down two levels to stop the overlap. Ironically, that doesn't help me because my old eyes are not good enough to read the now not-overlapped letters.
Also your observation about the keyboard filling your screen vs. mine not doing so is interesting. When I call voicemail that top part with the voicmail logo or what ever it is shows up first then the keyboard sort of slides up from the bottom and "bumps" against the bottom of the voicemail logo. With larger fonts the numbers overlap the letters.
