I have downloaded a document onto my phone. But can't figure out how to open it. Help and advice would be appreciated.

Are you not able to open the file, or are you not able to locate the file that you have downloaded?

In most cases the file will be downloaded to the "Download" folder that you can access using the application called "Files". If you don't end up in the download folder right away, tap the three lines in the top left corner > tap on "Downloads" or "Recent".

If you can't open the file, do you know what format the document is in? In most cases there are applications available in the Google Play store for most formats, for example Google Documents that works with .docx files and some others.
