Has anyone else seen this?
Sometimes when I press the power button to start using the phone the last-used app (or even the home screen, which is just an app after all) will have frozen. If it's the home screen then widgets like the clock will have frozen, showing the wrong time of day!!! However the notification bar is still updating correctly. The home button will not respond. The only solution is to press the Recent Apps button. This will unfreeze the display. I've tried Evie instead of Xperia launcher but it still hangs. Such a fundamental system problem must surely be caused by Android not an app?
