Miserable reception XZ3

One year old. Huge problem mainly at home. I have basically TWO spots in which I can make and recieve calls. If I move one meter from the spot the call ends with a blip. Id somebody tries to call me and the phone is in the wrong location they'll end up in my voice mail.
My wife has a OnePlus. She can talk everywhere in the house. I have an old SAMSUNG who also works as a charm no matter where I am in the house. Just like a cell phone should work. My neighbour can take and make calls without problems when visiting my house.

It's not only in the house. Genrally I'm having reception problems where ever I go.

SONY:s support has advised me to shut of (or turn on) VoLTE, which I did without any changes what so ever. Also urged me to try WiFi calls..

The SIM is new.

Any suggestions?

Try, compare, test.

The start is right. All other devices perform better.

What happens with your SIM in the other devices?

Can you try to create a new APN?

Goto your providers site and find the APN settings.

In your phone: settings->network and internet-> mobile network->advanced->access point names->tap on the + at the top->use your providers' settings, Dave this new APN and use it as your preferred APN.

I hope this will resolve your problem.

If not then use the support app on your phone and contact local Sony support to have your device inspected and repaired.

My SIM vas inserted into my old SAMSUNG. Worked perfectly. Cannot tell when talking about my wifes or my neighbours mobiles, though...

The APN - settings are correct. Just compared what i have with the settings on my providers web.

I have already a case at my local SONY Support. I tried what they suggested.
