NFC problem after Oreo update

NFC not working after Android Oreo update. Could Sony quickly resolve the problem? Till now there is no update or remedy. There are quite numbers of issues after the android update. Please test the update first before rolling out for updates. Very disappointed 😥

same here. "extremly close" contact also works for me.

But it's not a solution. this way doesn't work with G-PAY for example

I still believe that is the software issue, bump this thread!!!

P.S.maybe SONY will allocate some resources to interogate the issue and fix the "outdated" phone

or I'll leave SonyFanCamp

Did this ever get solved? My xperia xz has the same issue. Nfc was working fine with Google Pay and other device. But now I have to get it SUPER close, pushing the devices into each other. This is not a solution as it does not always work.
