No sound

My phone makes no sounds at all. Doesnt ring, no alarms, no sound from videos, no notifications and can't hear any calls at all help

Hi @Saz84, sorry to hear about this.

Is there any sound being played if you try the speakers in the inbuilt test in the device? You can find this test in Settings > Support > Tests > Loudspeaker / Ear speaker.

You can also make sure that the volume is not set to 0 for all audio channels in Settings > Sound.

I faced the same issue recently and no sound at all even after I did the sound test. Nothing worked unfortunately.

Any suggestions?

Hi @eaddad, sorry to hear about the sound not working for you.

If you have a headset that you can connect to the device, is any sound played through them? It doesn't matter if it is a wired headset or a Bluetooth headset, I just want to see if that works or not.

If you don't have a headset at hand, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App info > tap the three dots in the top right corner > Show system > Audio settings > Storage > Clear data > OK. When this is done, restart your device and see if there is any change.
