My zx premium is 2 years old, in really good condition, I've just come out of contract and gone sim only to save some cash so decided to keep my phone a while longer, but my phone has stopped detecting it has my sim card in it. A few months ago it used to drop out of network service and I had to restart it to pick the network back up, but the other day this stopped fixing the problem. I did all the usual resets, took the sim out and cleaned it, nothing works. The phone detects when u remove the sim and when u insert, you get a prompt then nothing. I went to Vodafone, they did a sim swap and even with a new sim card it continues to do the same. So I'm guessing its a problem with the sim reader in the phone, what I'd like to find out is this something that can be repaired or fixed and roughly to what cost, or is the phone knackered and I need a new one? I'd like to keep and fix if possible, but have no idea even where to start, any advice would be greatfully recieved, cheers
