Suggestion: Ability to hide navigation keys

Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8, it'd be great to have your soft keys get out of the way so you have more screen real estate. (obviously this should be a toggle-able option)

Totally support this!

In the mean time it looks like there is an app or two that will do this, neither require root (there is another that does).

But agreed this should be standard in 2018!

You can force fullscreen mode with

adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.full=com.whatever.applicationname

(or replace "full" with "navigation", or "status" depending on what you want to hide/do)

Still, certainly it wouldn't be bad if the "immersive mode" tile was there in quick settings, like in just about any other phone.

I want it the other way.

Please add the option to always show the navbar, also in fullscreen videos!

Simply everywhere.

I dont like to swipe and press the button. Just one step is much more convenient.

Always hiding is possible with adb commands, never hiding is sadly not.

cheers,

Andi
