Unstable bluetooth connection with headset

Hello, 

my old Xperia Z5 compact with Android 7 worked great with my Plantronics Voyager Legend bluetooth headset, but with Android Oreo on my Xperia XZ1 compact (firmware 47.1.A.2.374 / Android security pach level 1/10/2017) the connection is very unstable. Sometimes not even pairing works. And if paired the headset does, for example, not reconnect with my smartphone after swichting the headset off and on. 

Any help is appreciated.

Do you still have these problems whilst running in Safe Mode, @ChristianM?

Thanks for your reply. I successfully started my device in safe mode. After testing I will return with my feedback.

The issue persists also during safe mode. But updating the device to the new firmware version 47.1.A.5.51 resolves the described problems. The headset now works as expected.
