Whatsapp notification

I have updated to ore this morning and have some minor troubles.

First of all i have the adaptive brightness Bug, which i guess will be adressed ASAP

But something that annoyed me were the notofocation dots.

It seems, tha the dot is not working properly for whatsapp. has anyone else the problem not getting the notification dot on whatsapp? i have ssen it once or twise, but not everytime i get a message. so it is kinda inconsistent. The other notifications on the status bar and on the homescreen work perfectli, only he dot on the whatsapp icon does not work all the time. Is this a sony problem or a whatsapp problem? whith for instant snapchat everything seems to work fine, also with email etc...

Hi there

I completely got that. I used notifyer before oreo. Oreo shoud be able to show this dots natively. And instagram and snapchat is doing this properly on the sony system ui without any mods etc. Im just wondering why whatsapp is not showing this dot. I checked all settings and whatsapp has a setting show notification dot. It has done it once or twice since upgrading but seems buggy

You may have to check with the developers of Whatsapp on that one I'm afraid, Sony has no input into the development of third party apps.
