Wi-Fi message of "no internet acces" even when connected

Hi, I'm having an issue with my Sony xperia xz premium, I keep getting this message when connected to the Wi-Fi of "connected, with no internet access" even though is connected and running with no issues. How can I fix/get rid of this problem. I already checked the option of having it always on even when on sleep and I already tried on safe mode and the issue persist.

This message will show up when the device can't ping some Google servers, and this usually happens if you're in a place/country/region which has blocked some of Google services. Is this the situation?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, that explains a lot, I'm in China so Google is banned here and I use VPN all the time for everything. So I'm guessing I'll just have that notification there no matter what?

Yes, I guess this will persist as long as those Google sites are blocked.
