I bought the Xperia XZ Premium from a friend recently.
The IMEI number is 3578xxxxxxxxxxxx.
I stay in the UK.
I have tried to use 2 different UK sim cards on the phone (EE and Lebara) but each time, the phone is unable to connect to the mobile networks.
I have usedthose 2 sim cards regularly on other phones (Blackberry PRiv & passport) for years and have never had any issues with them.
I also have a MTN-Nigeria Sim card which I used when I was in Nigeria recently on holiday. I put this MTN sim in the XZ Premium and it was detected (as a roaming sim card).
Why does the XZ Premium detect foreign roaming sim cards (MTN Nigeria) but refuses to detect UK sim card networks (EE and LEbara)?
