XZ Premium not responding or lagging

Even while I'm typing this it's happening 😁

Since the update I have had issues waking the phone up , the screen does not register touch and even sometimes the power button does not work. 

Resetting does not always solve the problem either, it's also a little annoying to have to restart your phone multiple times a day. 

Also battery life has halved since the update, but that looks to be fairly common now!

Is there a fix or a setting? Or are we just waiting for the next patch?

To narrow down the issue, boot in >>> safe mode and report back if you experience the same issue

Ran safe mode for a few hours and there were no issues, since coming out of safe mode (for half a day and all night) there have also been no issues.

Could this be something that was running in the background or is the fix to go into safe mode?

@Adamwithonedsafe mode temporarily disables apps that you've installed. if the issue persists in regular mode, but is gone after booting to safe mode, it means that it's caused by one of the apps you've downloaded.
