XZ2 gets stuck / stalls regularly

Hi there,

my XZ2 (H8266, latest patch level) regularly gets stuck / stalls: After interacting with the phone, the processes suddenly become much slower, the UI almost gets unresponsive, and it seems like the pone takes ages to execute processes. Only a restart helps. I couldn't figure out what triggers this behaviour or if it is caused by an application running in the background.

Any hints how to fix that or how to debug it?

As you thought, it's probably an app misusing the phone's resources. And to pinpoint which app is causing this you may try the following:

- The "Support" app: From Settings -> Support, check "App issues" for some clues.

- Remove or disable antivirus, cleaners, and memory management apps.

- Factory reset or better software repair using Xperia Companion and begin from the scratch. Monitor your phone's performance with every app installed.

Yes my XZ2 does the same after a few days of being on, only a restart will help. Says system UI not responding and Home launcher not responding sometimes. Phone gets laggy and unresponsive
