Bluetooth volume too low

Hi all, just updated my Xperia Z5 to the new 7.0 this morning. However, I realised that music coming out from my Bluetooth headpiece is very very very low! I had to crack up to the max to get some sounds. Before that I only had to go 30% to get to a comfortable volume level. Is there a way to work around it?

Since the second last update the Bluetooth volume Regulation has a very coarse subdivision!! So annoying! The Sound is always too loud or too quiet. if using my JBL Charge 2 volume Regulation  the subdivision is different to my Phone

have you tried it while on safe mode? try to pair your devices again.
