can not change sound notification after lollipop upgrade

ever since Lollipop upgrade I see many issues with my Xperia Z2. But most of all that makes me mad is that the upgrade changed my notification sounds I had customized. not only that now I can not select my favorite sounds for specific notification. can only get sounds and ringtones that are on Lollipop by default. Can anyone help with this?

What happens if you place the files you want to use in the folder media\audio\notifications and/or media\audio\ringtones on the internal storage?

Sounds placed here should be displayed among the preinstalled notifications when using the app Sound picker.

Thanks that works. Though there are no media\audio\notifications and/or media\audio\ringtones. Just off the root notification and ringtones folders. I put it in both. Now how do I get different sounds for txt and email. Can't find anywhere settings for it unless I go to each contact in the address book.

Anyhow, can I get on Xperia sms txt notification like a ringtones on incoming calls? Meaning different for each contact.
