Can't change lock screen wallpaper

Hi ,
I brought Xperia Z last week ( India) . I changed Theme to Emerald .
I changed home screen wallpaper to my desired picture, home screen got changed.

But when I tried to change lock sceen wallpaper,settings -> Display -> Lock screen ->wallpaper -> Album selected random picture . I got pop out lock screen changed. But its not changed actually !!! The home screen wallpaper itself in dull pattern is showing for lock sceren wallpaper.

What could be the reason for this?? Have anybody tried this? Its only in my mobile or this is an issue/limit/bug??

Which type of screen lock are you using? Swipe or pattern/PIN/password?

Hi,

I can change the Lock Screen Wallpaper, irrespective of the theme. The same can be changed from Settings>Display>Lock Screen

When i use PATTERN as my screen lock, the lock screen wallpaper doesn;t change!

Why? i tried to change the lock screen wallpaper in the Settings>Display>Lock Screen, nth change.

The lock screen wallpaper is the same as my wallpaper.

The lock screen wallpaper is only changed when using swipe as lock method. When using pattern/PIN/face you will get the wallpaper as lock screen.

Yes, when I changed lock method to swipe I'm able to change lock screen wallpaper.

But its like that ?

The phone is designed like that, unfortunately nothing you can change.

You can change you lockscreen wallpaper
First try shutting down developer option, and try to change you lockscreen wallpaper. Don't matter the lock method btw

on 4.1 - lockscreen wallpaer work only with swipe.
on 4.2 - lockscreen wallpaper work on any unlocking methods.
it is as simple as this.

no confliction with developer option or anything just depend on android version

I m using xperia m mdl., and I selectd swipe mode lock screen, and my versn 2.1 eventhough couldnt chnge lock screen wallpaper. kindly help me! Fixed this bug !
