Display manufacturer

I have right to know who is manufacturer of my display panel because Xperia Z1 Compact is shipped with two different panels: the bad one is AUO, and  without issues is JDI. I have Installed Terminal Emulator from Google Play and entered the right code, but permission is denied and i think that is because latest android version 4.4.4. Do I have to rollback on previous version or to do factory data reset to make the code working?
