ERROR The camera may be in use by another application

Hi everyone

I did the Android update to version 7.1.1 yesterday and when I start the camera I get the following error:

"Error

The camera may be in use by another application. Please close the other application and try again."

I've tried rebooting, factory reset and clearing data/cache of camera app. Nothing works

The camera works within WhatsApp though...

Does anyone else have this problem or even a solution???

Android 7.1 upgrade is a bug-full and problem maker. I have many problems with this upgrade
