Mic problem returned after update 6.0.1

I had problem with mic - people couldn't hear me, because my voice was very quiet. Then I switched off mic noise suppression and everything was fine. Until update to 6.0.1. Now I have the same problem. And I can't switch off mic noise suppression, because this option is simply missed.

Any ideas how to fix this now? Or I should downgrade to previous android version?

UPD: may,19. Sony market topic as solved. But it isn't really solved at the moment. They will roll out an update in "upcoming weeks". And because we still have the same problem, I unmarked topic as solved. As soon as we will have the noise suppression option back and this will really help us - then I will return the solved mark.

UPD 2: In. 575 version the noise suppression function is back. People can hear me again. Thanks, Sony

Has anyone actually been i contact with Sony support about this? I wonder if they have acknowledged the fault.

Talked with Sony Support in chat session.

After describing the problem, I was asked to try boot in safe mode. I replied I had factory reset my phone.

I told that I experienced same problem in Lollipop, and the problem was solved by turning noice cancelling off. Sony Support replied that noice cancelling setting was missing in Marshmellow, and I was told to send my phone to Sony by contacting a Sony authorized dealer.

I asked if the phone must be updated or replace. The answer was Unfortunately we are unable to answer if your device will be repaired under warranty or not, since a technician first has to examine your device before a decision is made.

Now I'm checking if I have to pay for support...

That's ridiculous. If they actually followed these forums, they'd know the issue affects a lot of users. No way I will send my phone to them at the risk of having to pay for support. I'll sooner ditch it, and never look back. Sony support is beyond lousy.

Hello friends. I have problem with my Z2 . I update my phone with 6.0.1 before 4hours and i make 5 calls and nobody can hear me ..just little and low . 😕 What i can do to fix my problem ..i reset my phone factory ..i go to microphone settings and change senisitivty from auto to high but i have same problem...I  change 3g to 2g network ..can sombody help me ..others things are ok for now 😕

Been having the same problems with Lolipop! Xperia Z2, no one can hear me; microphone is good...

 yes i test my microphone in apps and he is ok ..just problem with calls ...i love sony and Z2 is good on action last one year but after tomorrow update...bro 😕 (for now )

Got it here too.  Sony hung up on me because, of course, the rep couldn't understand a word I was saying.  Emailed support and was told to repair using companion software even though my message stated I've done that several times already with no results.  Tried it again anyway, being sure to follow instructions precisely just in case.  Nothing.

I'm not understood/heard talking on the phone normally.  With a headset, no problem, but I hate using it.  Speakerphone's okay too, but I hate using it.  Sony, the phone on this phone isn't useful for making phone calls.

I know that all but i'm in Bosnia and Herzegovina -,- ' ..i will wait 2 days and see recation and last option try repair on PCC

But i don't understand how you(sony) can make UPDATE without test ..my phone work perfect before update 😕
