Missing contacts

Some of my contacts have disappeared??  Any suggestions as to how I can get them back. I have an Xperia z5.  Tried deleting my Google account and then resetting it. Nothing!!!!

Hi @Debjane, welcome to the community.

Is it only some of your contacts missing while others are there?

It may be filters. Go to your contacts, tap the 3 dots on the top right and select Filters. Tick basically everything in here.

Other than that, have you recently removed any communication apps? For example Skype, Whatsapp etc?
