Greetings all,
I have a Z5 with 32.3.A.2.33 stock ROM. As you all know, since upgrading to Nougat, you have to tap on the Notification area and to enable/disable Mobile data, the drop down menu has to be extended fully. The WiFi option works a bit differently, as you can simply tap on it to enable/disable without extending anything.
My question is why there is no consistent behavior AFTER taping on the switch: Sometimes, after tapping, the dropped down area stays there and you have to tap 'Back' or swipe up to make it go but othertimes it justs swipes up and vanishes by itself, which is much more convenient.
I have not been able to find a pattern for it. Any thoughts or ideas from those who have encountered this?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you @alexdon for your feedback.
I do understand that is how it works at the moment, since Google changed it for whatever reasons, however my focus was on what happens (or not) afterwards.
Do you believe that normal behavior would be to automatically close the menu once the toggle is pressed or not? How does it function on your device or any other's?
That's how it works on all devices I have at hand (Z5c, XZ, X etc). The menu stays on until you either press done or hit home.
I think it's the expected behaviour and I do not necessarily enjoy it to be honest.
