My phone just died - flickered then switched off

HI,

I have had my new Sony Xperia Z Ultra for 4 days, while just sending a text the screen flickered and then switched itself off.  I have not been able to turn it back on again.

I tried plugging it into the charger but noting happenned at all, now it is an expensive shiny paperweight.

Any advice?

Common problem... (See other comments on this forum and You tube) Pressing on button multiple times... and I mean multiple times ie 40 + will suddenly bring the phone back to life. My appears to be worse when fully charged. 

I am now on my 4th phone.. and they all have the same fault. Sony rep reckons latest update solves the problem, but it does not !

I am noqw waiting for Sony to get this fault fixed before exchanging my phone yet again.
