Others hearing feedback when calling me.

When people call me they hear feedback of themselves talking. Its perfect fine on my end, it is happening with every single call. The only time it doesnt happen is if i have headphones plugged in or phone on speaker. Ive had the phone for a year, seems to have been a problem (that ive known about) for the last couple of months.Is anyone else experiancing this? Ive tried all ideas on forums etc but i dont know if this is a manufacturing problem or theres something i need to do. Help!

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear this. I recommend that you test your microphone outside of a call. You can do that in the built in test tool in your device, diagnostics. To do so, go to: Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Microphone. How does the microphone behave here?

I would also recommend that you try and reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior is caused by one of you downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.

If the same behavior persists I recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This is to rule out that anything software related in your device is causing this behavior.
