Problem with my xperia z3 compact

when I power on my Xperia Z3 compact it tells me Sim card is locked but the keyboard will not let me put in my password tried reset button still the same

Any help would be much appreciated.

just to be clear, you have a SIM card pin lock or are you referring to the phone's lock ?

The keyboard is unresponsive, I have tried using the reset button, nothing happens.

That seems to be a hardware issue, but just to narrow down the problem, boot on >>> safe mode, this will disable all third party apps that maybe just maybe one is causing this problem
